About Nays
Nays Baghai is an independent filmmaker and underwater cameraman based in Sydney, Australia.
A graduate of Australia’s national film school AFTRS, Nays brings dual expertise in character-driven storytelling and shooting in any underwater environment. As a photographer and cinematographer, his past clients include Rolex, Sony Alpha, Tourism Australia, Molchanovs, Channel 9 and many more.
In 2020, Nays’ debut as a film director, Descent, won the Oscar-qualifying Sydney Film Festival and has since been showcased by various international festivals and streaming platforms. He has won 20 awards for his shorts, and has produced content for Telstra, CBA, Deloitte and High Resolves. Nays currently works as the creative director of Running Cloud Productions.
